Hello everyone! As many of you know, I have been practicing Reiki since 2012. Soon after becoming a certified Reiki Master Teacher, I began learning and practicing other healing modalities that compliment Reiki. Since that time, I have always wanted to run a successful healing arts business that included not just in-person healing sessions, but I also wanted to teach Reiki as well. Through my practice, I realized that anyone could learn Reiki and apply it to any facet of their lives. I worked in a high-stress, high-demand profession, and I encountered lots of co-workers who were constantly stressed out to their limits. I wanted to help them and others like us who work in these office environments where the stress levels are high, and the energy field is polluted.
After getting laid off in 2018, I took the opportunity to really focus on my holistic business, and I incorporated Loving Light Reiki. I did everything I could to prepare myself for being a #soulpreneur. I took speaking classes, I hired a holistic business coach, I bought all kinds of crystals and other healing supplies, painted and revamped my home studio, made YouTube videos, created a website, and continued to write articles that were published. I made connections with other wellness practitioners, booked speaking engagements, and began teaching too.
Eventually, I rejoined the workforce thinking that I could balance both my holistic wellness business and a day job. Unfortunately, Loving Light Reiki took a backseat to this new schedule and the balance was lost. But the Universe was not giving up on me!
The Universe made life uncomfortable for me because it needed me to refocus on my healing journey and my spiritual path. I travelled to Sedona twice in 2020 as a means to find answers to my burning question, “What is my life purpose,” and I connected with some incredibly special people from #sedonamysticaltours. After my spiritual retreats, I had a renewed sense of returning to my life purpose. And, as anyone can expect, my professional life began to fall by the wayside. I no longer cared about my so-called “profession.” In my heart, I knew my real profession was to be a holistic wellness practitioner and bring knowledge and healing to as many people as I could. This was when Loving Light Reiki was transformed into Emerald House.
Intuitively, I knew that I would not be in the corporate world past January of 2021. Now, I not only offer Reiki sessions, but I also offer different healing packages depending on client preferences including crystal healing, sound healing, chromotherapy, and intuitive spiritual guidance. Soon I will also be offering astro-chartography and Akashic Record readings. Stay tuned because I will be offering other personalized products like healing salt scrubs, crystals, and much more.
